 History of tekQuote
tekQuote is a spin-off product of Design Fork, LLC. Design Fork is a custom web development house that caters to businesses looking to expand their sales and marketshare by taking advantage of internet technologies. After several requests by brokers looking for a fast and inexpensive, yet professional and effective way to move their business on the web, Design Fork started to research the development and technology costs involved with launching a full-blown niche service.
After months of research and development, as well as input from various brokers around the valley, Design Fork officially launched tekQuote, LLC in February of 2005. The goal of tekQuote is to market and package a product that is separate from Design Fork, and appeals directly to brokers. The system is un-parelled in its simplicity, and brings both unique features to the customer and broker side of our custom web tools, known as the tekQuote Engine & Proposal System.
In February of 2006, tekQuote launched version 2.0 of the tekQuote Engine & Proposal System,
giving brokers even more features to help increase sales through technology.
